Las Vegas Art Museum Oct.15,1999 Dr.Jim Mann Dear Jim Thank you for your fax. I hope you will write the Raw visions soon and the Europe Museums article or it will be to late. I read over the City-Life article and the holocaust article you wrote and I must say it is great writing about me and my art style that I am amazed and still do not understand,I think you are the best. Why not repeat these in a new form, the message is great. The Countess will be in Vegas in 2 weeks or less, she needs a letter describing my work in a light that Museums will understand. It is said that religion is dead in Europe but not true with the old Masters Catholic art of Mother Mary and Child. Colleen will be at the Wedding show in November at the convention Center in Vegas. Maybe I will come then at least to meet Countess De Pommery. I need to take the digital pictures. All matters are confirmed for Switzerland to ship the painting by air on December 17 and I will be their guest leaving here Dec 25 and returning Jan 2,2000. The T.V.live coverage will be Dec.31st. I am starting a new advanced version for U.Memphis 8feet by 100 feet in 4 25 foot sections that will ship on one roll. This is for their show next September and one year world tour. Sincerely William Thompson Mr.Bob Cassilly October 14,1999 City Museum Mr.Horst Reiser October 14,1999 Campus Crusade for Christ 206 Joseph Street Zurich,Switzerland 8005 Dear Brother I have mailed via express the floppy disk and other info to tbe above address. 13 disk in foil to protect from magneets or xray. I am sorry that my registration form is misplaced by I hope to find it by Monday here. I has occurred to me that I should ask you if you would consider an advanced version of Revelation Revealed II I am painting for the show next fall at the University of Memphis and world tour. They have ask me now for smaller individual scenes to travel. This painting is 8 feet tall and 100 feet long in 4 25 foot sect-ions,it flows more for visual interpetation and will be easy to install with eyelets every 2 feet apart. It is possible that I could finish it by December 25 and fly it over as extra luggage. It is good to hear from you and know that you are planning all things. I have my ticket in hand now and will come by faith to stay the full time with you as you will see by the confirmation. Everyone here is afraid to travel on those days especially over-seas. I will express the floppy disc today,it is very high quality 1,3 pixels per from the newest Sony digital camera. This set was set on black and white for first 6 scenes or so then goes to color. Hanging the 6 rolls of 50feet each Revelation Revealed may work from a wire but it depends on how far apart the poles are. the wire will sag like a clothes line and the canvas needs to be straight for it to look right. In St.Louis they hung it in one day to inch rods but the rods had up wires every few feet to the ceiling. It is okay to bend rolls 2&5 90 degrees slowly with no bends less than 4inch dia.(No square bends). They used a bottom or washer and short to tie through each eyelet to the rod. the rod or wire cannot go through the canvas as there is no loop. They make a univeral curtain divider for trade shows 8 foot tall with cross bars about 1inch dia. I am not sure you have this. the poles are every 10feet apart and the painting could tie easy to the cross bars. The height is ideal. Each upright has a plate for free standing. Do you plan to hang it back to back? Will it all be seen from standing in one place or must one walk around it on the outside? or part inside plus around the outside? People view it best at a distance of about 15feet. Maybe you can hang a rod down to 8feet by wire from above, the steel rod would be streight. Your pillars appear to be about 70 feet apart and I see no way a single wire could hold it straight. The canvas weights about 1 pound per foot,50lbs per 50 foot. You could tie a high wire between the big pillars and then run wire down to the rod. The vertical wire must be fixed not to slide down the high wire. I am beginning to see more but do not understand the medricsystem I may go on line with a website soon of my own but my time should be better used painting and writing. I would like to put up my daily journal with prayer and scripture along with my art. I did receive a long hand written letter from Ulricke but I have not been able to read it clearly,I think I know 90percent of the meaning. I will sure follow the shipment to you from Dec.17th. Sincerely William Thomas Thompson
